Apply First Aid Courses (Senior First Aid)

Accredited Training Company is a Registered Training Organisation registered with the National Training Authority to deliver Senior First Aid (which has now been renamed as Apply First Aid), Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation CPR (HLTCPR 201B – Perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and Advanced Resuscitation (HLTFA 404A – Apply Advanced Resuscitation Techniques).

ATC is the least expensive and most time efficient providers of Apply First Aid training.

Apply First Aid

Course Number: HLTFA301B – Apply First Aid

Course Outcome:	The course has been developed so that any member of the community is able to confidently render assistance should they be in a position where they or another person becomes injured and requires immediate assistance. Persons with Apply First Aid demonstrate a responsibility to the community which provides them with a personal satisfaction by helping others and improves self confidence and esteem.
Recommended Renewal Date:	CPR – every 12 months Apply First Aid – every 3 years. A reminder letter is posted/emailed annually.
Duration:	8 hours of practical training including role plays with assessments both oral and multiple choice written. In addition each participant is provided with a text book and workbook The workbook is completed at home and sent into the office for marking. The workbook will take 7 hours to complete.
Pre-requisite:	Student must be over 14 years of age or have written parental/guardian consent to attend Completion of CPR (which is included in the course)
Competencies:	On successful completion of the 15 hour course, participants will be issued with a nationally accredited certificate, for HLTCPR 201B – Perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and HLTFA301B – Apply First Aid which will be recognised anywhere in Australia and can be credited towards a Certificate or Diploma qualification in Vocational Training Courses where it is required.

Apply First Aid (Refresher)

Course Number: HLTFA301B – Apply First Aid

Course Outcome:	The outcome for this course is to provide the students with competencies suitable for the provision of appropriate first aid management to casualties in given environments.
Recommended Renewal Date:	Every three years (with CPR recommended to be renewed annually)
Duration:	Eight hours in classroom plus pre-course workbook
Pre-requisite:	Current Apply First Aid Certificate issued by any RTO. The expiry dates must not have passed. Participants must attend the 8 hours of practical training only – completion of workbook is not required
Competencies:	HLTCPR 201B- Perform CPR HLTFA 301A - Apply First Aid
