Accredited Training Company is a Registered Training Organisation, registered with the National Training Authority to deliver Senior First Aid (which has now been renamed as Provide First Aid). Accredited Training Company offer’s two different Provide First Aid Certifications. These consist of standard Provide First Aid (course code HLTAID003) and also Provide an emergency First Aid Response in an Education and Care (course code HLTAID004). This is the course required by staff working in child and aged care facilities, schools and learn to swim companies.

We conduct courses numerous times a week, at venues all over the Gold Coast, Northern New South Wales and Brisbane. The First Aid courses consist of eight (8) hours of practical training, which involves role plays and practical assessments. Each participant is also provided with a textbook and workbook. The workbook is completed at home and sent into the office for marking. The workbook will take up to 7 hours to complete. On successful completion of the fifteen (15) hour course, participants will be issued with a Nationally Accredited Certificate which will be recognised anywhere in Australia and can be credited towards a Certificate or Diploma qualification in Vocational Training Courses where it is required. The student must be over 14 years of age or have written parental/guardian consent to attend. The qualification is valid for three (3) years.

The First Aid Refresher course includes the eight (8) hours of classroom based practical training but does not require any additional home study. To be eligible for a refresher course, the participant must have a current Provide First Aid Certificate issued by an RTO. If a student’s certificate is expired by anything more than two weeks, it will not be accepted and a New First Aid course must be completed. The First Aid refresher course covers both Provide Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and either variation of Provide First Aid. The course fee varies for new and refresher units. Our new Provide First Aid has a cost of $120 and Provide First Aid recertification is $95.

The First Aid course has been developed so that any member of the community may confidently provide emergency assistance should they be in a position where they or another person becomes injured and requires urgent medical help. Persons with Provide First Aid have a responsibility to the community, which can provide them with a feeling of personal satisfaction through helping others, and can improve self confidence and esteem.
